You can connect to your 12volt battery pack (5AH or more) or direct adapter of 12v 5Amps. this solder iron has removable solder tip with pin point. Its good for PCB works and small level soldering. Its only 15watts solder iron so you get good battery back up. You can use this iron when your main power is off or where AC line is not available.
